I have an item for sale. My "My eBay Selling Overview" page shows a message received from an eBay user today. When I click on "Reply", it says "The question you are trying to answer is either invalid or older than 90 days. You cannot respond to questions older than 90 days." But the message was just received. The message does not appear in "my messages" but it does appear on my "eBay selling overview" page. What can I do to answer this message, or delete this message from my Selling Overview page? Thanks.

Mine did that a couple of days ago.
I just went and located the ? in another spot, and was able to respond from there.

Thanks for replying! Where exactly did you locate the message? It does not appear in "my messages" but it persists on my "Selling Overview" page.

It's an eBay known bug. See post 28 in THIS thread below, for the ALERT number.
You can contact customer service & have yourself added to the alert, if you wish.
devon@ebay Here's a couple more users that are encountering it. If you could pass along that there seems to be a 'flare up' of the bug, this week.

Sorry, I should have added, I simply answer them all from my email, like @fern*wood suggested. In fact, this bug was happening so often, I just got used to always doing it from my email & never even checking My Messages.

Hey @simply-the-best-for-you! Thank you for sharing more examples with me. I will be sure to have this reported on my end and see if I can push to have an update to help resolve this bug sooner.

Folks, I never received an email for this message, and it is not in "my messages". The message still persists on my "Selling Overview" page. I get the error message when I try to reply, and the message doesn't exist anywhere else. I see that it is under ALERT14323 but I don't know how to "contact customer service and have myself added to the alert". How do I do that? Thank you.
