Received Paypal payment but item still listed as Active on eBay

From the looks of it, eBay was experiencing system outage while my buyer used Buy It Now option - I received Paypal payment with eBay hold but no notification at all from eBay.

Called eBay earlier today and really didn't like their resolution of refunding the payment and relist it - do not want to risk losing the huge deal and having negative review especially it is my second ever sold item on eBay. Also the listing is surely on a No Selling Fee promotion.

What did everyone else do with this issue? Should I just ship it anyway through Paypal even though I've purchased shipping label from eBay?

I wanted to explain this to the buyer, refund it and have the buyer purchase the item again but it would be too wordy and make me seem like a scammer especially because I have no review as a Seller yet.

It a glitch. A couple people have said it finally showed in the hub.

Ebay is having a bit of a problem with this.  It will show up on your Seller Hub and you should receive notification.  It is just taking longer than it normally does.  Hopefully it will resolve VERY soon!!!

I am experiencing this on the buyers end. No word from seller yet but it's late. Called ebay and paypal. They both blamed each other. Great. Ebay said Paypal would send an email verifying payment was recieved to seller so they could mark as paid and ship. That sounds convuluted and confusing. Hope my seller doesn't cancel and realizes I paid immediately but Ebay is being a bummer right now...

It was the first item I sold and shipped, and the affected one in this post was 'RS5 Style Front Bumper Grill...', which just finally showed up as item sold on eBay. Thanks though!

It finally showed up as Item Sold, thank God I did not have to relist it otherwise would have lost the deal which buyer paid full price for the listing plus more. Past 10 hour was nerve wrecking for me really. While I am glad that this went thru, I would say this is a quite serious issue on eBay's end. Hard to imagine how many sellers and buyers out there sweated on their shirts through the day today. Hopefully their 6 figures earning developers do more thorough testings before their new releases and not break anything critical like this in near future...
