Bob and Mohan,
Though we appreciate the apologies, can you please let the community know which "critical issues" have been resolved and which is ebay "working diligently to solve as soon as possible"?
I think that will be of tremendous help to all of us so that we can set our expectations.
Thank you.

Bob and Mohan,
Your apology and $2.50 will get me a Starbucks Tall Boy.
But with sales on the deep slide due to buyers running away in droves due to the "Technical Issues", I'm gonna have to forgo the Starbucks, and get a $1.00 small coffee at the local convenience store.
... and you want us to do Free Returns? Phat Chance.

Dear BOB and Ebay,
Lies.... quit blowing smoke ... You are not sorry, you and your team are incompetent, greedy, and full of **bleep**. How about full refund on every store fee, and every sellers fvf for the last 3 months?

I wonder if they will let me pay my invoice with their apologies?

When I read the apology, all I was thinking was "bla bla bla, bla bla bla"

They still have not fixed VISIT SHOP on eBay USA when I look I only see 24 listings out of 222 and you wonder why sales are down. And now multiple listings have had the additional photos automatically removed, this was hours of work by me now down the toilet. Sorry is not good enough we need ACTION. We need these issues fixed please eBay.

For one, they need to reset trending rates on promotions back to a more reasonable level. This issue had many keep increasing their rate, trying to make up sale counts.
Secondly they should compensate us somehow as they cannot make up for the weeks of loss revenue.
Appreciate that they acknowledged the issues. Can only hope next time they make changes that they somewhat consider adverse affects of it. Next update ebay should actually add something that helps the existing sellers. for once.
That said, this looks like sabotaged coding to me really.

Has anyone ever noticed that ebays billing system always remains in tip top shape?
Never any technical glitches charging my card and paying my bill.
Mmmmmm

I laughed when I saw this so called apology. Too late already removed 300 listings and will not relist again. Closed our store and we buy exclusively on Amazon. I will not support a site that does not support it's sellers. They not only lost honest top rated sellers with a great feedback rating but also customers who would buy alot more here but choose Amazon now. I love how they say some sellers are experiencing issues but most aren't. You Know that's a lie. They would not even bother apologizing if it was not alot of sellers experiencing these issues.

Bob's we-feel-your-pain-but-won't-provide-any-details post seems to indicate that [finally] knowledge of eBay's appalling propensity to create glitches ("cosmetic" or otherwise) has crept up the management food chain.
And, now that senior management seems to be aware that sellers are suffering...
Will eBay [finally] fix all the current glitches ("cosmetic" and otherwise).
Will eBay [finally] create a decent QA process for future software releases/changes?
Will eBay [finally] create a timely and accurate glitch notifiction process/system/whatever?
Who knows? Only time will tell.

apology not accepted.
The issues are (for anyone who doesn't know yet) that the trade war instituted at the top of the e-commerce food chain preceded eBay's technical deparment's ability to take corrective server action that allows U.S. smallbies selling on eBay to get up-to-date data reflecting in a timely manner how awfully hard we're all taking it on the chin, all because China's shipping containers have outpaced the changes in server technology that's supposedly affording our listings far less visibility in search result than what is permitted for counterfeit and big box junk central.
In other words, ebay is "sorry" for not letting us down sooner, in time commensurate to the throttling's full wrath. Experienced sellers know what I mean.
