Questions about selling comics on eBay

Let me preface this by saying that I've sold a few comics on eBay but this was a couple of years ago and I know how eBay loves to make changes to stuff,  now on to the questions:

1. - I've been seeing posts lately about eBay removing listings and/or suspending seller's accounts because the listing/seller has violated eBay's policy regarding selling replica items, where can I find eBay's replica policy?

2. - How, if at all, does eBay's replica policy pertain to selling reprint comics? Is it allowed?

3. - A few of the comics I have are signed by either the writer or artist of said book, these autographs were obtained in person by me when the writers/artists appeared at a convention or book signing. None of the autographs have been authenticated or have a COA (it was the 90's and authentication was basically still in it's infancy). Am I asking for trouble trying to sell these books without having them authenticated and if so what's the most reliable company for getting them authenticated?

Questions about selling comics on eBay

I've never had any issue selling reprint comics or autographs without a COA. Technically, trade paperbacks are reprints and both Marvel and DC have had several actual series such as DC Millennium and Marvel Milestones which are just reprints of key books. Generally a COA is only available through a specialty release from a company or the actual writer/artist (and they don't tend to bother).

I think the replica policy has more to do with other categories and even then, more to do with fraudulent reproductions.

I've sold many comic books that contain reprinted stories, including a lot of Carl Barks' work in various Disney titles. I try to include a list of the reprinted stories in the description. You can look up the contents of most comic books at,

https://www.comics.org

I would like to include a link in each listing to the matching comics.org page, but eBay doesn't allow external links in listings. HTH.
