Hello:
First of all, sorry if this has been asked, or explained, before but I am not checking out the forums often and that means I might be behind when it comes to changes or news. I remember that, even if I was logged in, I would make a search and see my own items.
A few days ago, I wanted to see if my price was competitive when compared to similar items. I noticed that my listings were not showing in the results. Is this new or is this proof of that ongoing rumor that implies that Ebay limits visibility depending on the seller? Thanks, in advance, for any information.

Try searching for your listings via different browsers on the desktop/laptop while logged in via in-private or incognito. I feel this yields the most honest/neutral results. Also search via browser. I have noticed that while searching in Chrome that some of my listings don't appear but they do in Firefox. I think this might be an issue with eBay web servers and the Chrome user agent....but, that's just a guess...it is most likely just the way the AI/algorithm works. That's just my experience....YMMV.

The more you search for you items on your computer without buying, the less likely they are to appear in your search results.
The search algorithm thinks that you are not interested in that product or seller.
Each persons search results are unique and not really going to give you the true visibility of your product.

Which item, and what search terms are you using?
Check your search again to make sure that you are not being automatically directed into a particular category. If your item is not listed in that category, it will not appear in the search results using those search terms. If you want your item to appear in that search, you may have to change the category it is listed under.
