I have a case a buyer opened for reason : doesn't match description or pictures. Both are lies. The buyer didn't read full description that it was for PARTS & REPAIR ONLY. Written in the title and description several times and under the category for PARTS & REPAIR under jewelry. Do I have to accept the return? OR is this a buyers remorse? I can't remember since I never had one of these. It is actually a buyers remorse and they added they did not read description or look at any of the pictures. IT was in right category, the brands I mentioned are definitely in the box I shipped and in the description. Buyer is being a complete jerk and I even added special pieces extra that were worth more than the entire box I send and the buyer got 50% off my asking price on top of it. They keep bugging me for return label now.
I have NEVER lied in a description and definitely would not just come up with brands of the items out of the air and put in the description. I am frustrated beyond belief. I am sure I am not going to get back all the items and I have a feeling they are going to take out the items I put in the description that were in box that I shipped. Just to make me or try to make me look like a liar. I have sold many of these for much more money and never had a problem.
Also complained it was mostly women's stuff. I said that in the description!! Also shows it in the detailed pictures.
So do I have to send a label for return or can I close case? Thanks.

No problem.
I went ballistic on an Amazon seller early in the pandemic - a container of chocolate covered almonds arrived as a solid chunk melted together.
Wrote to seller. They asked for pics. Perfectly normal, I obliged.
Next email floored me. Return for refund.
You want me to go out in a blankety blank PANDEMIC to return something RUINED AND UNUSABLE?!?! ?!?!?!?!
Not to mention they’d crammed it in a Tyvek, which was now cut apart so I had nothing to ship it back in (I’m with my daughter for the lockdown).
And she was pregnant and due ANY MINUTE!
I’m for sure not risking THEM for melted candy!!!!
That’s the other end of the extreme, return at all costs.

Right?
I argued and they wouldn’t budge.
So I did pretty much what a buyer on EBay would do.
They suddenly decided “we will treat you special” and refunded.
I’m more careful now buying fulfilled items and avoiding 3rd party.
Took me awhile - also got 2 cases of shelf stable milk that expired in 2 weeks. Legal, but how is that ”shelf stable” for the purpose of actual backup storage? And a flat of canned fruit all exploded and dripping.
If I want anymore food in this pandemic, I’ll buy from @inhawaii !!!!! 😂😂😂

Yikes...was you asked to return the exploding canned fruit?

I thought it meant and at one time I think it did, that no returns meant you don't get your money back, unless not as described and you had to send photos of the item to prove it. But as I am reading these boards it does not mean that anymore. I can see a lot of changes on Ebay.

And once you learn it, they change it. 😀

Since being on Ebay (since Jan 2001) I have always come to the boards to read posts to learn solutions to problems and to keep apprised to current events. I caught wind of the managed payments stuff and of the effect the covid virus was having all over the planet, so I once again come here to learn what I didnt know about all aspects of ebay, not just buying (Im exclusively a buyer) because learning even about sellers and their responsibilities helps me as a buyer and also helps anyone I buy from.
If I learn what sellers are expected to know and live by, it helps me to understand and appreciate the sellers all the more, and any time I might run into issues, Im more able to help resolve those issues by being empathetic and understanding...merciful even, towards sellers. (the good ones, that is...not the dishonest ones....) and I can contribute to helping others that may come here seeking advice.
I feel there is enough misinformation out there without my adding to it so, yeah, Im all for correction in areas needed. I feel ones who dont like to be corrected enjoys chaos and disorder. At the very least, those ones seem to think they are above being taught anything (know it all lol )
Not I. Im here to learn what I dont know and if I can help someone during that learning period, then thats a bonus 😉
