I have a listing with a public $50 off coupon, and a private $75 off coupon.
I sent my previous buyers the private coupon.
One just claimed that the $75 coupon didn't work. It only showed $50 off at checkout.
I tried to get them to work with me to figure out... if they entered the correct coupon code, etc.
Said I'd try pausing the $50 public coupon ... but they haven't got back to me...
Please help clarify I'm doing this correctly. I think they entered the wrong code....
Thanks in advance!

Did you check that the usage limits you set on the coupon had been exceeded by this one buyer? Or if the overall limit for all uses was exceeded? There are a lot of moving parts to these new coupons and i'm not sure where one tracks if they are getting close to any of their limits?

Yes, both coupons have budget, but neither of them has reached their budget yet.
Thanks for the reply !

Update: It DOES work as expected. They both work together fine.
The public coupon is automatically applied at checkout, but if they enter the $75 coupon it overrides the $50 coupon. eBay does NOT force the public coupon, and does NOT combine the 2 for $125 off.
Additional FYI: I use The Honey coupon extension for chrome, and it DID pick up the private coupon for $75.
If you were hoping your private coupons are "secret" - it doesn't look like it...

That doesn't seem fair that they can use two coupons. I would think either one or the other and eBay probably only allowed them to use the $50 coupon that you sent them. I would call eBay and talk or chat online with a customer service agent and see if they can explain this.

I checked it out for myself by logging out and trying buy-it-now as a guest user...
See my previous post... It's all good.
