Promotions Manager Problem or Another Policy Change?

I`m currently running a sale through my E Bay Store, as in the past when an item sells I`ll usually add another identical item to replace the one that sold depending on current stock. About a month ago I found that I could no longer do this (or add any other items to the sale) so I called E Bay but as usual no one could answer my question, I was told to "watch" the items in question for 24hrs and call back if nothing changed.

 

Nothing`s changed and I thought I`d see if anyone had some knowledge they could share? It seems like a long time to have a tech issue so I`m thinking there may have been a policy changed I missed, but I can`t seem to find any......

When you start a Sale through Promotions Manager, there is an option that you can check to "Include skipped, or new, items when they qualify" … you probably didn't check it off.

 

If your sale will be running for a while more, go and edit the promotion and check the box.

Thanks for that tip, but as it turns out that box has been checked all along, so I`m still stuck in "Pending" for a couple of items added to the sale.

I've got a Store-wide sale going on through the 31st … and I listed some new stuff today … I'll keep an eye on mine and check back in here if they do or don't get picked up by tomorrow.

The 5 items that I listed yesterday were picked up into the sale as of this morning...

 

This sale was created using Rules ... "All Inventory" with no exceptions.

 

If yours still aren't on sale .... how did you select the items for sale? Rules or upload? Any exceptions? I'm Just trying to troubleshoot here for you 😉

Thanks for your input, I actually started my sale with "select items" rather than creating rules and that`s the way I`ve always done them, something has definitely changed but next time I`ll try the type that allows us to create rules.

 

My additions never got out of the "pending" state so I ended up having to end my additional items, re-list them, and create a new sale for them that ends when the current sale ends. Kind of a hassle but at least I found something that works.
