Promotional offers free insertion fees 500-1000 listings

Once upon a time and not too long ago ebay gave us promotional offers to list 500 items with NO insertion fees but ebay has become very greedy and only care about the sellers that have stores and expensive items. It seems like the mom/pop shop sellers like me with small items don't count.  Thanks a lot ebay. I have been a member since 1999 and sell more at Bonanza Marketplace. And you know what? They give you unlimited listings with NO charge! How about that! ðŸ˜’

Is that site still around?

I don't think 250 free listings is that bad?

It's still around. But the OP would be the first person I've heard of that does well there. They do a few things I like better than here. But that doesn't mean anything if nobody buys from there. Although, I keep meaning to go back and experiment with some of the ad options.

And obviously 250 listings is bad. Anything other than unlimited listings for free is greedy.

I wouldn't think of trying to move my business to a website I have never heard of.

You also have 224 listings all seemingly multi-quantity items that you can likely restock. Seems like you are already a store type of customer

Usually the word "promotional" means that it's a temporary thing.

Re: Promotional offers free insertion fees 500-1000 listings

I have a store and certainly don't sell expensive items.  I need the extra listings and am happy to pay for them.  If it's not listed, it won't sell. I guess I'm greedy because I want to make money, and if it takes spending $22/mo then it's worth it to not be cheap.

I listed on Bonanza for over five years, kept listings stocked, rotated, stayed engaged with the site. I was so hoping it would work out.  I didn't sell a doggone thing.   Best of luck over there.

Re: Promotional offers free insertion fees 500-1000 listings

Greed is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.......250 free would have been a bonanza to most ebay sellers in the past......which is the reason alot ended up there........and then, as Southern says, gave up....

No.  They said they sent it out to selected sellers.  I happened to get one almost every month or every other month for at least a year and then cold turkey it stopped.  I made good sales and ebay got a chunk too.  I haven't had one since 2016 I think.  I can sure use one now.

Re: Promotional offers free insertion fees 500-1000 listings

250 listing for $5 fridge magnets is very bad especially if I don't sell much.  With 500 listings I made out good. 250 is good if you have $50 and up items that actually sell.

How is my topic already solved?  I would like to hear other's point of view, not just from "guides"

Obviously my answer was just that good. Or you fat fingered my post as the accepted answer. For that, I thank you. And on behalf of other lowly guides, they thank you too.

Do you have permission from all those bands to print merchandise with their names, logos etc?
