ALSO, BE WARNED:
EBAY CHANGED PROMOTED LISTING TO BE BASED ON NOT JUST YOUR ITEM, BUT ON ALL THE SALE INCLUDED IN FINAL AUCTION VALUE.
So when you calculate the %, understand, they are tacking it onto everything like shipping and I believe maybe even taxes, but for sure shipping.
BULL**bleep**!

I stopped using promoted listings as eBay stopped showing the cost. I cannot make an informed decision without that information. I don’t trust eBay to make reasonable decisions for me.

They take way too much. I am still a new seller and have come to realize that over a quarter of my sales have gone to ebay. People are responding like "That's the name of the ebay game" "you should have known better" but its ridiculous how much money this company makes off of us. I would imagine that ebay would want us all to sell as much as we can to pay their paychecks, the more we sell the more they make. NOPE.
2$ ro put caps in your title? 10% promotions to have them help get stuff sold ?
They will nickel and dime all of us. I cant wait until they start charging to answer their phone....

I do know this much I listed an item & paid on the spot a $2.99 add promotion fee, which ebay states is collected whether or not the item sells. No problem there. However I do have a major issue with paying a $2.99 fee & got zero views. To me the add fee service isn't working, & feel I should be refunded or given credit for the payment to be used on another item.
How can it be justified the extra paid fee for a service does not reflect any increase of promotion with a zero view count.
Maybe a glitch as usual in their system, perhaps ebay should spend time focusing on fixing the problems before adding more to it, while potentially costing sellers, (this includes their recent shipping glitch).

zombie threads don't need to be bumped,
and I did not sell the item, so your post did not need to be a reply to me 🙂
