Promoted Listings Advanced and Promoted listings Standard Fees

I have a question about eBay's PPC Promoted Listings Advanced (PLA) and Promoted Listings Standard (PLS), If you have items in both PLS and PLA PPC do you pay fees on both if the item sells? or do you pay the fee only for the method that was used to find the product?

Ex. If the listing was obtained/sold via a PLA PPC listing would I still get charged for PLS listing as well?

Re: Promoted Listings Advanced and Promoted listings Standard Fees

How will sales be attributed between my Standard and Advanced campaigns?

We use a last click attribution model, meaning that the sale will be attributed to the click closest to the sale.

Last click attribution is the industry standard and will ensure that a sale is only attributed once across Promoted Listings campaign types.

For example, if a listing is promoted in both a Standard and an Advanced campaign, a buyer may click on the Advanced ad and the Standard ad before purchasing the item. Once purchased, the sale will be attributed to whichever ad was last clicked before the buyer made the purchase.

Note: Advanced ads will always be charged for a click, regardless of an attributed sale. Standard ads will only be charged for an attributed sale.

Re: Promoted Listings Advanced and Promoted listings Standard Fees

You would pay on both..PLA is pay per click..so if a buyer clicks on your listing you will be charged for the click.

If that same item was put in the buyers watch list and the buy you would pay for PLS standard.

Using both is overkill IMO

I only use PLS I only pay when the buyer buys. PLA you pay for the click if they buy or not.

Re: Promoted Listings Advanced and Promoted listings Standard Fees

It appears that eBay has conveniently left out what items have sold via PPC PLA, not sure if this was actually done on purpose for such situations. You can't even get a report from  PLA PPC that tells you the item number that sold so you can cross-reference the answer.

Re: Promoted Listings Advanced and Promoted listings Standard Fees

Is there some documentation on this somewhere? I need more clarity, I think the way you're explaining it isn't always the case. If the buyer comes to eBay for the first time and clicked the item based on PLA PPC and not standard, but the item has both PPC PLA and PLS, you should only be paying the PPC fee, not the PLS.
