Hi @dhbookds, when we refer to the message center we are talking about your eBay Messages. when a promo is shown in Seller Hub, there should be a corresponding message in eBay Messages with details. These messages generally will disappear after the promotional period ends, but should otherwise be visible until you delete them yourself.

I got the same promo and there is no message in my message center. Promo date March 6 - 26

Same here Trinton....I activated it from Seller Hub, but there's NO message in My ebay Messages with the details....no message about it at all.

I received this message this morning in my email, but it is not anywhere in my Ebay account or messages. Given that your item needs to sell for at least $500 it is not something I would even activate. With the amount of scams going on I can't afford to take the hit. 30% discount on final fees doesn't temp me to take the chance.

Same here, nothing in eBay messages. No link in the confirmation page either. There is zero explanation on what is covered by this promotion.

I got the promo and activated it. I took it to mean anything listed before the March 26th deadline that sold for over $500 in the art or collectible categories would have a 30% reduction in fees. And I have 1,000 chances! How much more explanation is required for a perfectly useless promotion?? LOL

Agree, the promo won't fit everyone..........but the fact that they have this in the basic info:

makes me think there is more info that sellers should know about........just another probability that there will be some kind of misunderstanding..........

I just started a post on this. I will try to mark it complete. Another member directed me here. 

Anyway, there should be more information given before anyone accepts. I have not received any personal e-mails from eBay about the promotion.

I can see it says sell an item over $500 and get 30% off in fees. Is there still a listing fee involved to list the items? What categories are involved?

Maybe I'm thinking too hard on this, but I rather know all the facts because I still have free listings to use under my store account and I don't want the promotion to be applied first over them.

Oh, good -- I finally have somewhere to list all those original Picasso, Rembrandt & Degas oil paintings that have been cluttering up the garage these past few years.

I may even consider parting with the last of my Romanov Easter eggs, and perhaps even my Shakespeare First Folio.

I got one for 50% off items over $50 offer that ends on 3/9, but only on my account that has never listed an item for $50 or more.

Most of these offers are just to get sellers to risk selling higher priced items.

I don't understand the theory.

I'm now to over price my listings to take advantage of promotion, but actually upsetting shoppers who may return or add me to their favorite list.
