Product out-of-stock duration / listings ended

I noticed that some of my listings where automatically ended apparently because the stock was at 0 for 3 billing cycles. Did not know that was the case so I checked my listings and I see some that have been out of stock since 2019 which were not ended. Anyone know what is going on here, I am guessing the fact that the 2019 listing were not ended is another eBay glitch?

Have you checked your selling preferences to see if you by chance elected to use the "out of stock feature"? 

Using that allows your listings to remain active until the stock is replenished.

Just checked and I have the out of stock feature checked. I always list as good until canceled but maybe I missed a few? More likely that it is an eBay bug as I have seen a lot more issues with the site, especially with the new listing tool which still has issues and is far from new by now. Not only have to relist these items, but also have to do the same on my website so that the inventory syncs so similarly to the time I spent on the new listing tool, I can now waste time on this!

"Good until canceled" is the only option nowadays for fixed price listings, so you definitely didn't overlook anything related to duration.

eBay's Help pages used to explain how long an item would remain as an "Out of stock" listing, IIRC it was 90 days, BUT there's no mention of that limit currently on that page.

Originally eBay would end listings that were out of stock for 3 cycles (3 - 4 months) but they changed this about 2 years ago.

I have Out Of Stocks that last sold in late April that are still active. Looking at the ones eBay ended it seems they will stay OOS but active for at least 6 months.
