I had a recent auction where a person bid on 3 items I had. They were collectibles that cost me over 25.00 each to buy. They went from box to shelf and were in perfect condition. I had this buyer who asked me over 20 questions about these and other items I sold during this period. They won 3 for really cheap 1.99 each. Then they didn't pay. They told me they needed more time. Asked for combined shipping (I did). Asked for cheaper than combined shipping. At this point I should have cancelled the sales, but I am newish to this. Anyway, I ended paying more for shipping than they paid for the entire sale and shipping. Now they are playing games and requesting returns. They damaged the one plushie (it was perfect) and sent pictures. Now they are sending me questions why there is holes in the bottom of a models base (to put the pegs in). I have had it with this con(person)! What do I do??? I do have a record of all their emails.

Wait uptil they open a dispute and if they do just refund and abandon tossing more money for return postage is just tossing it down a rathole... spending $10.00 to recover $7.00.....

I wouldn't do anything.

It isn' t the money obviously. I just hate paying them to keep 80.00 worth of merchandise when they are playing games. I do this for fun and zero consumerism. But I don't want it to cost me money.

Nope. Things are only worth what people want to pay for them. I know. It is just annoying. I just wanted advice on what to do in the future. I have learned from reading the boards to block someone if they are annoying or complaining before they ever bid because they most likely will be a problem. This person was doing this all along--before they ever bid. Good advice.

You can often learn valuable information from a bad buyer's "Feedback Left For Others". You might see hints like, "HONEST seller, really stands behind the merchandise!" or "Had an issue and seller worked it out", etc. You may also see a lot of revised feedback.
A buyer who is a pain in the neck BEFORE the sale will always be worse afterwards.

I looked and they don' t leave any feedback for their purchases. They had 11 feedbacks themselves that were all positive. They are still emailing me this morning now about the other purchase-saying I hid a hole in the base. It a plasic anime figure. It came that way. I didn't melt it down and create a perfect hole. Oy!
