Not getting feedback from Buyers.

Anybody else not getting feedback from buyers? I have not gotten feedback in 3 days. I usually get feedback from my customers. Is this part of the glich I have heard about?  Have not recieved feedback since Oct. 2nd.  from buyers but getting feedback from sellers.

lol. welcome to my world. I didn't get feedbacks for almost a month.
It's normal. It's optional. You will get it sometimes , not always.

I quit worrying about feedback months ago. People hardly leave it, and it's not because they had a problem with my service or items. It's just not as common.

One reason is the change of behavior/placement of the feedback button it's there until the item is delivered then it changes to "Return item" it used to have a big blue button for the buyer to hit that said "Leave feedback" that stayed throughout even after item is delivered,now the buyer has to scroll carefully (as to not accidentally click "Return Item" to "Leave feedback" in tiny writing,of course this also gives the buyer pause to consider returning item.while decreasing feedbacks it undoubtedly increase returns,making for the bean counters to count more beans with eBay shipping revenue.

Less than 50% of my buyers leave me feedback.  I don't think it has anything to do with the transaction or the item.  I think people are just lazy.

Even after 15-20 years selling on ebay, i still love getting positive feedback.

You have like 9k feedback. Are you trying to win a contest?

Most sellers who leave feedback for every buyer report that they only receive about 30%.

Many buyers just want their item.  Feedback is voluntary and not owed anyone.

Buyer pays, seller ships.  That's it.

You have 9,000 feedback and you are concerned?  Why?

Yup I used to average 80% feedback from buyers about 5 years ago...today I average 20%. I have always left feedback  AFTER a buyer leaves me feedback since I first started selling in 2002.

In my opinion this younger generation of buyers has just not been taught thankfulness in my humble opinion. They have NOT been taught accountabilty either. EVERYTHING is someone else's fault..Like It was me who forced him to buy from me and it was me who forced him to buy the wrong item because HE failed to read the AD in BIG RED LETTERS.

This country and ebay are both doomed quite frankly if people don't start TAKING PERSONAL RESPONSBILTY for their OWN actions.

It takes a long time for me to get feedback from buyers. I usually do my feedback as a seller after it shows item was delivered and I will usually post them once a week for all sales I had that week. I get less than half of feedback compared to how many transactions I have had. I actually have had over a 1000 transactions selling and i think I have around 310 feedback, so less than half. People don't have to leave it. If they leave it great, if not no big deal. I will never request feedback from a buyer or send them a reminder, feels kinda tacky to me. If i never hear from buyer again I am assuming that they are happy with order or they would have contacted me. So fine with me.

I don’t send lands end a thank you, why should I send one here? Seems to me that feedback has totally lost any relevancy when it’s not left to inform future buyers but to feed the neediness and ego of sellers.

Thankfulness is voluntary. When it is used to evaluate the morality of buyers it has totally jumped the shark.

Seems to me that the entitled attitude of some is worse than a perceived lack of thankfulness and responsibility in others.

At least it's not like the Brazilian Rain Forest where they get an average of one review out of every 100 sales. And they might as well close shop if that review happens to be a 1 star.

Yea it's a whole different ball game over there. Over here if you get a negative, it's not the end of the world... it will push down relatively quicker.
