I had a buyer not pay. I am trying to relist, but I cannot. I tried to "sell similar," but I still cannot do it.
There was a previous thread about this, and it was never resolved. Is this a new trolling technique (trash a competitor's listing by "buying it" and never paying, making him relist competing items? It sure looks like that.

Did you file an unpaid cancellation for that order? If you did, there was a check box on that page that asked if you wanted eBay to automatically relist. So chances are, the box was checked off by default and you didn't see it. Can take a few hours, but that auto-relist will pop up.
No listing fee is charged on the relist. eBay added it because sellers were frustrated having to pay extra listing fees when nonpayers took their items down.

Did you go through the non-payment cancellation process?
If you did that then I suspect that the auto-relist might have kicked in.
FYI - The auto-relist is an option the YOU have to select when you do the original listing.

Another good thing about filing the Unpaid Item Dispute, the deadbeat cannot leave feedback.
If he left FB before you filed the UID, it can be removed.
