At the start of June, I made a change to our account for eBay to deposit from my son's personal checking to a business checking account with both our names on it. I had created an account at BlueVine the day before and so entered that info into eBay to start the micro-deposits verification.
The micro-deposits hit a couple of days later, but when I went to verify the amounts on eBay, the eBay site flashed an error that said something to the effect of 'too many attempts made, you can no longer verify the amounts of your micro-deposits'. So I never had a chance to verify the amounts at all; we just got this error.
So, I tried again on the 13th. No deposits hit the account the whole week. Again, on the 20th, and nothing, even after verifying with an eBay agent on the phone that the deposits were going out to my account. On the 25th, with an agent on the phone, I did the instant verification, but there was no change in status.
On the 27th, I uploaded screenshots, per an eBay agent's instructions, of my banking activity, routing, account, etc. And, this was kicked out 2 days later. I don't have a bank statement yet because the account is so new, so the agent told me that screenshots with the requisite data should work. Unfortunately, it didn't.
I'm curious if any other sellers are using BlueVine or if other folks are having this kind of problem with changing a bank account. The only thing I can think of that's gumming up the works is that BlueVine shares a routing number with another bank. This has been a very frustrating month, and talking to eBay's support staff has been of little help. I know the routing and account numbers I've entered are correct; I triple checked them when putting them in the online form.
Anyone else out there having similar problems?
