Print invoice option is gone

What the heck. It was there yesterday. I need the invoices for my business records. Ebay, what's going on?

eBay is having another mid-life crisis feeling the need to jettison anything functioning that sellers actually use and replacing them with oversized unnecessary non-improvements.

Seller angst and frustration is palpable on this site.

If ebay looking for a way to force users back to manual bookkeeping then this new absence of sales info for seller record keeping meets that goal. And that means more time and effort doing required record keeping...and less time selling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been selling on ebay for over 10 years now, and the print option that was under 'Print Label or Invoice' that allowed us to print 'Invoice For Own Records'  is invaluable. That's the only place where all the 'Sales Status & Notes' are gathered for record keeping (i.e., ship date, actual shipping cost, item cost, notes, contact info, etc).

Interestingly enough, the print option is still available for international sales...

What is the answer to this mess!!!

Knowing that records archived before going away we a solution ASAP!

The Orders Details page has all the information you mentioned and is printable. (ship date, actual shipping cost, item cost, notes, contact info)

There are several reports that have been released lately.  First they did not have the email, Tracking Number and Phone Number.  That info was slowly added back to the reports.  It is like they changed the old reports into new reports but the new reports were not fully ready when the made the switch so they have come back and added more information to the new reports.

This report does not have Sale Tax accounted for so maybe no sales tax was take out?  The thing with all these different reports is they do not show all the same information.

I use pre-cut label for dispatch /invoice combination print and that is now gone too! It's ridiculous! I have reams of blanks to print that are now to be shredded according to ebay with the diabolical new system and I am having to print each dispatch label individually, which is frankly ridiculous! It seems ebay have done their usual thing of "improving" something that does not need changing - if it ain't broke : don't fix it!

Another example too of someone deciding that the customers that fund ebay matter less than those customers would wish!

I can’t find an invoice either … just ridiculous enough to stop using the site.

Two things I have noticed concerning invoices,

1) If the item has not been paid, the full invoice will still be available. As soon as the buyers pays, the invoice is gone.

2) While the invoice is available, the full info including buyer's phone number and sales tax amount will be listed. Once the buyer has paid, the buyer's phone number is no longer available and you will have to go digging and find the transaction in the Seller Hub payments page to view the sales tax.
