Where on gods green earth do some people come up with these prices. They have to be out of their minds. Either they think the buyers are stupid are they are. No reasonable person will pay $50 plus $20 shipping for something like an EMPTY Johnnie Walker Blue Liquor bottle.  People need a reality check.

That is why many buyers have left Ebay. Becoming nothing but overpriced stuff. I can never understand why people even waste their time listing something for $300 when there are 20 people selling the same thing for $100 or less. The good news for us many of us is we get more sales. That same bottle you speak of with an asking price of $70 shipped, I would sell for $35 in a heartbeat.

I have noticed that prices for some items as well as shipping charges have gotten ridiculous. For some items, I have seen much lower prices at local brick and mortar stores.

Bidinflation is good. It gives Wholesalers that can slash prices Sales 😎✊💰

There once was a time of active auctions.

One buyer put up a new object in auction, next to 10 'buy now' ads of his.

I still wonder why each time that object in auction went far over the 'buy now' price 🙂 EACH TIME!

That's because shipping costs have gotten redicilous, years ago.

There was a time were shipping to EU cost 1,5 times local shipping, and WW was 2-2,5 times max.

Nowadays it's gone up to 6 times local costs.
