Price Changed when I completed a draft

I have a number of items I've been editing in "Manage drafts." Occasionally there are issues where the final listing doesn't match what I entered, where changes disappear mysteriously even though I saved them, and in some cases even went back into the drafts again and saw them.  I can only guess bugs in the system, but here's a case in point:

I had some comics in my drafts listed cheap, 99 cents each, and I decided to combine the listings and create a set of 10 for $7.00.

I edited the listing, I combine the information from multiple listings... I intended to go back later and add my pictures, but the descriptions were updated, the prices were updated and the weight was updated.

I was doing "complete drafts" on a number of listings, but I KNOW my changes were saved on this listing because I sorted by price and clicked off on ONLY listings over $3.00 and clicked "complete listing."  A 99 cent listing wouldn't even have been on my first page of 50 (I have about 300 drafts I'm working on)  so it's impossible that any listing I clicked off and submitted was 99 cents.  I saw the price right on my screen.

That was yesterday. This morning, I woke up, and my set sold overnight... for 99 cents.  And the weight was still the old weight (which was underweight for the shipping).

How did the price "flip back" to what it was before I edited it, when I KNOW that the price was correct when I clicked it off to do "complete drafts"?  Because someone just got a nice bargain and I just lost some money.  Not a big amount, I know, but this isn't the first time something like this has happened, and I don't have time to double- and triple- and quadruple- check eBay's software did the right thing.

Has anybody else experienced this?
