I have a Premium store and I was under the impression that I get 10,000 listings for each month. I was watching some YouTube videos where people are doing a "sell similar" reset on their entire store multiple times a week! Not sure how they could have enough listings to do that with thousands of items in their store. One of these content creators referenced the extra 50K listings in "selected categories". What are those categories? I sell primarily clothing....would I have 10K or more?

Sell similar reset on an entire store multiple times a week is not a good way to run things.
A store subscription, no matter how many free insertions come with that store, will not affect a seller's account listing limits.
Clothing is not one of the select categories for additional fixed price listings. Select categories and more about store listings can be found on this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/store-selling-fees?id=4809#select
You can use your 'select categories' fixed price listings allocation in the following categories:
- Sports Mem, Cards & Fan Shop > Sports Trading Cards
- Toys & Hobbies > Collectible Card Games
- Collectibles
- Music
- Books & Magazines
- Movies & TV
- Video Games & Consoles > Video Games
- Stamps
- Crafts
- Home & Garden > Greeting Cards & Party Supply > Party Supplies

Makes sense....they were selling collectibles. I think this is called desperation selling! I do some selling similar but not to that extent! My strategy is running markdowns/promotions and cross posting to other platforms. I used to have no problem making a lot of money just on eBay.....not anymore. Some people say we should start selling other items but we know clothing best and that is what we love. I do feel like our items do not get the visibility here that they once did.

Not washing the used clothes would be a big turn off to a lot of buyers and also it's a policy violation.

I'm not sure how much of a turn off it would be since the buyer (if they have common sense) would be washing it before wearing it. Probably some would be turned off and others wouldn't care.
But it is a policy violation.
