Why hasn't eBay added the Gulf of America to the list of US possessions that you can choose to exclude from your shipping preferences yet?

Yes, I believe the word "Gulf" would be the clue here.

I asked about the "Gulf of America" which is the term the OP used and is apparently a body of water I've never heard of.

The heck with that, I'm still mad that the post office now calls Manhattan 'New York' and the American and National leagues merged into major league baseball and now everybody plays everybody all year long. Boo.
