Potential problem buyer?

I sent a buyer a counteroffer and now I’m wondering if I can block her to prevent her from accepting the offer or do I need to delete the listing in this case?

Details: the item is listed for 18.00 free shipping. I sent an offer for 15.00 she countered with 12.50 with a message saying I “need to accept within 30 minutes” and she will pay in the evening.

I sent her another counter saying 14.00 is as low as I can go with free shipping.

She just sent me a message (in the middle of the morning by the way - I don’t see why she told me she would pay in the evening if she can access eBay throughout the day) asking if there are “unseen in photos” flaws? Now I’m suspicious because why didn’t she ask that before sending her first counteroffer? It’s only a 1.50 difference so I think it’s odd she’s just now asking.

Does this say potential problem buyer to you or am I being paranoid?

Potential problem buyer?

You can end the listing before she accepts the offer, if you so desire.

I don't think you are being paranoid. End the listing, block the buyer, and then relist.  One less headache....

Potential problem buyer?

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and deleted the listing. I’d only be making a few dollars and it’s not worth the risk of getting a bad buyer .

I wouldn't sell to this buyer neither. I don't think she is being malicious by asking you that though, because in her position I think she is trying to justify the $1.50 difference in her counter offer.

But you don't need to be a malicious buyer to be problematic. Many of them can be sincere but just high maintenance.
