Hello everybody, I decided to post here because I feel like I need some advice with a buyer of mine.
The buyer has been a member since 2000, with 63 stars, but 0% feedback. Absolutely no activity within the last 12 months, it seems.
All of a sudden the buyer bought one of my items, as well as paid. I’ve read that some buyers may be scammers based off of only like a 6 month period or so. But, not completely sure how I feel about it. It is however, making me believe it could be a scam.
And advice? Anything would be helpful.

if this is a USA sale then you need to ship it
i woud be hesitant to buy from you since your are also a newbie with this ID
do you feel like a newbie....is the buyer a newbie
if you want sucess on ebay you have to take some risk
if you are not willing to take some risk then you buyers will go to another seller to buy

Buyer paid, ship it. His feedback is old.

Is it the item you sold at $19.99? Its not worth worrying about I would just ship it. I doubt scams are common over 20 bucks. If it was something pricey then I would have worried about it.

My advice?
Every eBay transaction has the potential for fraud.
If you are not willing to ship when eBay says it is time to ship, you may not be cut out for ecommerce.

Thanks for the advice. To be honest, I’ve been a little weary of different purchases/buyers. I typically have a buy it now, with a best offer. And I had several iffy would be buyers use the offer system for the same exact price, and such. Including two internationally (only ship throughout the US so far) but I don’t ship internationally yet. I guess I’ve been a bit too cautious about things. But thanks, the advice is appreciated.

It just means no FB in the past 12 months - does not mean anything more. Doubt someone would hack an account for a $20 item.
Ship it out w/o the handling time stated, etc.
If you're nervous or concerned, you could use Signature Confirmation, but it is $2.70 in cost and on a $20 item, you would surely frustrate your Buyer, etc.
Good luck!

That’s quite an understandable point of view. I definitely know I’m quite new with this whole process, and people are definitely gonna see that through my eBay in some shape or form.
As for risks, I have a feeling I’ve been too cautious with things. Not going to help me too much in the long run.

Yeah, the Signature Confirmation definitely doesn’t that appealing to use, unless it’s on a more expensive item. Thanks for the point out!
