Somebody bought an item from me yesterday I was only charging $8.00 shipping on but they paid $32.00, and the shipping address is a place in Georgia (U.S.) that according to google maps, is in the middle of the woods.
I haven't shipped it yet because it looks suspicious to me. Any guidance is appreciated.

What was the cost of the item? Perhaps they paid for the item & the S&H? Did they pay you thru the eBay platform? Are you sure it's the same person that purchased it from you? Check the ID on the payment and on the eBay invoice. Did you contact the buyer and ask them why they remitted $32? More info would be helpful.

Basic USPS Ground Advantage is still the selected shipping method. The item cost was only $15.00
I do not know where the check the other things you mentioned.
let me ask you this, how can you tell if it's international? I've never shipped international but I did recently open up to the new eBay international process. Would the "ship to" address say eBay international warehouse (or something similar), or would it just look like the buyers address?

Google maps isn't always up to date.
Those hubcaps, don't think they would be on a scammers list.

Since this was a multi-quantity listing, did they buy more than one? If so, ebay probably charged more shipping.

Ahhh crud you're right. Rookie mistake on my part.

You ship eIS are you sure it isn't the country Georgia? That would explain the higher charge for shipping. They paid you $8.00 to ship and eBay 32.00

You can tell by looking at the label the address will look similar to the one in the image below.

If they bought 4 and eBay quadrupled the shipping, but you can buy shipping for less, just do a partial refund of the excess shipping.

Good one!
But I still wonder about the shipping address in the middle of the woods. OP said its in the USA.

Yes, the address would be the indicator that it's an international order. Was it a freight forwarder? They usually have addresses in Oregon, Doral, Florida and I believe Delaware.

I own a home in rural Maine built over 25 years ago which shows as in the middle of the woods on Google maps.
You were charging $8 to ship 1 hubcap. You had 4 that is probably why the buyer paid $32.
I do not see anything suspicious.
