I feel sorry for any BRAND NEW SELLERS... who have to navigate the vastness of eBay with all the Time Warp of SELLER HUB (you are literally spending hours to do a few simple things now ) compared to the days before!  We are in a "post" Classic Site "apocalypse".   Who is inventing or should I say willing to start a new company with the old eBay model?  They have obviously abandoned it, so is it up for grabs?  Just curious.  eBay, if you are listening......you could always offer that CLASSIC SITE to the Sellers who still want to use it on DESKTOP COMPUTERS.  I don't see Desktop COMPUTERS going away any time soon.  WE are all going blind as it is, so big screens are a must for sellers!

Hate to burst your bubble, but new sellers will use SH probably much better than some old ones do......it will be the only thing they know.  Read an interesting article about the new Windows program.......buried in the info was the fact the gov't actually tracks what kind of an operating system we use when logging in to one of their sites.  Last yr.........15 people logged in using Windows 3.1...........I presume they were highly modified.....but just to show that some people will fight tooth and nail NOT to change.......  Best to get used to the "new" Seller Hub that's been around for 5 yrs I think it is......plenty of us have gone thru the transition and so can you!

What's wrong with creating an itty bitty link that says "Classic View" and just give people the choice? Not a big fan the "well just deal with it attitude", if you know what I mean.

There are already existing sites. Some even allow you to accept Paypal. Just do not expect the volume of buyers as are here.

That means they have to update both sites/multiple pages every time a change is made.......which costs money/time and just invites errors........and more complexity .......

Ummmm, ebay can't keep one version of programming working properly and you want them to have the opportunity to screw up two?  I think that would even scare ebay!  😂

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

The foolishness of one's actions or words is determined by the number of witnesses.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

Can you give a specific example of "a few simple things" that now take "hours" to accomplish in the Seller Hub?

I started using the seller hub about 18 months ago, and wish I had started sooner.

First, because it would duoble eBay's costs of development, Every change would require a development effort in two different places, using two differnt technology stacks.

Second, because eBay moved to the seller hub for a reason - the entire web is moving to smaller, modular service-based code that is deployed in the cloud and more mobile-friendly. An "all in one" page requires far more bandwidth and resources - making it more costly and less efficient.

Classic All Selling has been working fine for the past 20 years, with mild improvements..it was a home run UI..

Not buying the (Ohh cost soooo much money to run an UI that has already been coded for 20 years)  Yes, there would be some fine tuning but that doesn't require a team of programmers to handle. It's been great for decades. Also you think 10 pages of UI to the 1 Classic page is MORE Efficient?? Interesting take on that one ; )
