So, We had a good day on January 1, and then our slowest day since October yesterday, January 2. If my memory serves me correct after selling on eBay since 1999, this is typical year after year. Wondering how everyone else is doing 2 days in, and also giving an ounce of encouragement that there is nothing to panic about when sales slow down post December 25th into the first week or two of the new year. I had someone purchase something and then ask to cancel stating "I don't want to spend money in 2025". Pretty funny reason after they purchased, but I think that is the feeling by many for now

Slow again today...

Had 2 today which was a surprise. That is about my average..... Been slow since the week of Christmas and this week. That is par in my realm. Things should pick up next week when folks get back to the office.
Will have to kick off my usual 2% PL's Sunday evening. The last campaign ended on the 31st.

My sales always picks up after Christmas. January has been my highest sales month for most of the years I've sold here and about the first half of February, then it dies down a little until after Tax day.

Takes all kinds to make the world go around. Certainly we all don't and won't think a like - life would be boring if we did.

Sales activity of all kinds go up and down like the movement of a yo-yo and don't do the same way every day of every year. Would speculate you did have the same identical items to sell this year at the same price as you did last year.
Would think a good number of people used their C C to fund Christmas, New Years, Travel expense $$$ and the well is now closer to dry. Plus heating bills are getting larger. Received my notice of the monthly Social Security 2.5% increase and increase in Medicare payments for 2025 yesterday. Will receive enough money to buy 12.28 gallons of gasoline (regular) at the current price of $2.85 9/10 a gallon in our neighborhood. Sure glad I never moved to that "tax-a-lot" west coast when I was offered the opportunity. Live about 50 miles from down town Atlanta, GA.

Post-Christmas sales are good for me. My net sales are up 67.9% compared to last year's December 26th - January 3rd.
I sell Christmas items all year and have everything in my store on sale.

Sold one item on the 1st, & so far nothing since, To early to tell how things will be moving forward.

Picked up finally since the 1st but December sucked, 7 days with no sales. I might have 2 days with no sales the whole year, don't even think I've had 7 days in the last 10 years put together. My 4th quarter was down 40% from the prior year.

I am down 77% from beginning of year I am going to swap meets to sell off old stock that didn't move this last Christmas. There are more sellers competing and they are undercutting profits to build a customer base. Even says so in the item description. I can't compete with that I am focusing on other projects at home might back off eBay e commerce if it keeps up.

you have 154 items listed and you have sold 241 in 90 days. you have sold 61% of your merchandise in 90 days. If you were down 77% you are saying you expected to sell 426 items in those 90 days but you only have had 395 listed items in that time. so I think you're making ish up because you're expecting ebay to perform in an impossible way and have sold more than you have listed.
