I had a buyer leave me a positive rating with a rude negative comment.
For the life of me I cannot find where to report this. I know it is not permitted, but this buyer does it to at least 50% of his purchases.
I contacted eBay, and that was a waste of time. The gal didn’t even know what I was talking about.
Am I missing something as there used to be a link. On the appeal feedback link there are only two options, negative or neutral.
It is the principle of the thing. Thanks in advance.

Not sure why some posters are insisting this isn’t a policy violation, but it very explicitly is:
We remove all feedback that contains any:

I do agree it likely isn’t worth the time or worry, but chatting with eBay via social media might be your best bet if you still want it removed.

I have tried to leave negative feedback for sellers and Ebay would not allow it. This may be because I received a refund, but still, I should be able to report the bad transaction

Responding to it was a mistake.
That draws attention to the comment which otherwise would have never been seen by anyone.
Most members checking FB look only at the negs and neutrals, since those indicate where there are possible problems, with either buyers or sellers.
Some buyers will also check the seller's FB Left for Others as an attitude check when problems arise.
hindsight is notoriously 20/20

Since I’ve started reading these boards, I am much more of the opinion that feedback is just a facade. There is so much scrubbing and dilution via auto feedback, and it’s been reduced to something designed just to make the buyer feel more confident.
It’s still a bit of a head scratcher for me why someone would fret over a positive comment that nobody but the seller is even going to care about. I just read neutrals and negatives, and for things like “expensive shipping”, I can judge that for myself. I don’t need to read a comment about it.
