Please help! Buyer started a "not received" request while item is in their post office

Hello, a buyer with 0 feedback started a request, while item was delivered to their local post office 2 weeks ago (ebay status still shows it as shipped). We updated a tracking code two times, contacted the buyer several times so they could reach out for their post, but they're not responding nor collecting the purchase. Their phone number was also provided on the package. Request is due to two days ago, funds are on hold, what should we do - wait, or ask ebay to step in? What would be the complications? Thank you.

If tracking shows that it is available at the buyer's post office than you will win the claim.

'delivered to their post office 2 weeks ago' Question: how long does the post office in that delivery country hold a package? This is a USA site...and our post offices only hold packages that long if person is on vacation and has a hold on items to their house.

So, buyer is not on vacation due to the request.

Sometimes, not always, a buyer opens a claim..gets the refund from you and picks up item ASAP afterwards on the same day.

Add the tracking to open eBay claim again. 

And let eBay handle it.

A refusal not picking item in the USA is no refund and item is returned to the seller.

Again, this is USA where how it is done...not sure what country you sent it to.
