On 7/30/2025, after pleading with the AI to get me an agent, I finally had someone call me, I reported my issue and was given a SR number, I was told on this call the my issue will be resolved in 5-7 days. It's now day 12 with no resolution, I have called for an update twice and was told something slightly different both times.
My shock is that there is no direct number that I can call to escalate the issue, one agent put me on hold for about 15 minutes, came back and informed me that he as Ms. Chris on the line, I said thank you while he hung up on me without me speaking to Ms. Chris.
I feel isolated here, is there anything I can do?
Thanks,
John...

What is the issue? Looks like you cancelled a transaction this month? If you used oos, you got a defect for that.Depending on your issue, you may want to try Ebay on Facebook, use the message link. I found them to be most helpful.

It sounds to me like your getting the run around, They are just giving you empty answers, Unfortunately I don't see any form of recourse for you.

@etsvcs
Once you get past the "bots" and actually get a chat or call back with a "person", be advised for the most part they are call center employees in another country. If they eventually understand your issue at all, understand they can not do much about anything. Their responses are limited to what is provided to them in a script. They are always polite, and may make like they can solve your problem, but rarely do. If you follow any advice they give you, and it is often wrong, the consequences are always on YOU if the matter becomes worse.
The discussion boards here have long time buyers/sellers that volunteer their time to assist with problems. Instead of waiting around for "5 to 7" days or "48 to 72" hours (oftentimes customer service code for NEVER), you can ask here. You will hopefully be sent in the right direction for solving your issue

Yes, I feel as if the offshore call center is reading out of a script. I will try again on Monday and try posting on Facebook for some onshore customer service.

Your choices for social media reps:
https://www.facebook.com/eBay/ (use the blue message button)
OR direct message through one of these:
https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
If time permits, you may wish to wait until early Monday.

Looks like you are drop-shipping from different states.
Where you actually do not have items on hands.
And canceling sales as 'out of stock' can be the 'kiss of death' on eBay.
And where does a buyer return something?...Back to the outlet where it come from since you ship from different states?

When they are doing their job in the manner they are trained, that is what they are doing.
They may improvise, when they provide you an estimate of when a response to an SR number will be forthcoming.
There are few things which are accomplished by humans, and a limited number of humans who have to ability to affect anything.

Why don't you give an overview of what the issue is. It's unlikely that you need to speak to customer service.

Your pictures on your listings do not match the product names. Is this your problem?
You need to close these listings before they are sold and get you into deep trouble.

Your listing for "Classic Profile 4 Pack Dinner Spoon"
It's supposed to be stainless steel spoons, but looks like a set of 4 wood coasters.

Looks like they are dropshipping from a few different retail sites.

Whoever is listing your items is doing it wrong. I checked several of your new listings and as @kensgiftshop said the picture does not match the title. I saw at least five that were wrong and probably more.

I just went back and looked and all the listings I saw on the first page were all wrong.
