On 7/30/2025, after pleading with the AI to get me an agent, I finally had someone call me, I reported my issue and was given a SR number, I was told on this call the my issue will be resolved in 5-7 days. It's now day 12 with no resolution, I have called for an update twice and was told something slightly different both times.
My shock is that there is no direct number that I can call to escalate the issue, one agent put me on hold for about 15 minutes, came back and informed me that he as Ms. Chris on the line, I said thank you while he hung up on me without me speaking to Ms. Chris.
I feel isolated here, is there anything I can do?
Thanks,
John...

I tried calling this number (eBay Seller Support), but I always get a message that I called outside of business hours day or night.

"I am expecting a credit from ebay ..... I was overcharged"
There is no mechanism for eBay to overcharge you. This isn't 1960 with a clerk hand tallying everything on paper. The most likely scenario is pilot error. They will tell you anything positive to get you off the phone.

Do NOT call any number you find on the internet. That one, the first search result on Google is of scammers calling someone via that number.
You can request a callback or chat via the Help & Contact link on any eBay page instead.

Ebay hasn't had a call center since 2020. Which is likely why you can't get through on that number you have.
On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://www.facebook.com/ebay
https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
