On 7/30/2025, after pleading with the AI to get me an agent, I finally had someone call me, I reported my issue and was given a SR number, I was told on this call the my issue will be resolved in 5-7 days. It's now day 12 with no resolution, I have called for an update twice and was told something slightly different both times.
My shock is that there is no direct number that I can call to escalate the issue, one agent put me on hold for about 15 minutes, came back and informed me that he as Ms. Chris on the line, I said thank you while he hung up on me without me speaking to Ms. Chris.
I feel isolated here, is there anything I can do?
Thanks,
John...

I've never seen so many errors. If this is the issue you're here about you need to go in and correct the problem yourself. You have 2 choices you can revise the listings and add the correct photos or revise the listings to reflect the photos.

Which five? I have been experimenting with uploading a .csv file.

Click on the blue link under your name that says View listings and you can't miss them.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

What type of help were you seeking from Ebay? Many issues we can help with here. Do you want to give us a try?
You have a whole lot of listings with very few sales.

Very few sales and razor thin profit margins. 🙂
I am expecting a credit from ebay, I was told it would take 5-7 days.

Well the first part about thin profit margins is something you have to work on by lowering costs where you can and increasing what you charge buyers by a little. Shipping supplies is one area that we can often save money on.
Charging the exact amount of shipping that it costs you is sometimes a place where you can make a change. Instead of charging $4.47 for media mail to your customers, add 50 cents to $1 to cover fees on shipping and some of your shipping supply costs.
You seem to have a set price that you charge for books of $5, when the value of a book usually varies. You might research that a bit and see if you can charge more for these new books.
Adjust your shipping on your video games as those are NOT eligible for media mail, you need to ship GA.
On the items you appear to be drop shipping, that is going to depend on making sure you have enough room from the price you pay your supplier to the price you sell it for. If you can't make money on it, don't sell it.
Can't help with a credit from Ebay. None of us can. But may I ask why you have a credit coming?

I appreciate Ya!

I didn't want to overwhelm you, so I just offered a few things. Get that under control and then move on to other things that will likely help.
Still, what credit are you waiting for from Ebay and how long has it been?

I was overcharged, I was told that I should receive my funds in 5-7 days. I cannot get a straight answer, this is what I am experiencing.
1. Once the robot allows me to, I request a call back, the text tells me that someone will call in approximately 5 minutes, but it's actually 10-15 minutes. I am connected to a very polite offshore call center who is very apologetic of my situtuan, but can do nothing for me.
2. I ask for escalation, then I am connected with another polite offshore member of the leadership team with an English name who also cannot do anything for me.
I'm going to try Facebook now, I'll keep you posted. It just feels scary that I cannot get a straight answer, this is a poor customer service model in my humble opinion. I had the same experience some years ago where I was not able to get my item fixed or replaced even though I paid for the extended warranty. This was a different company, it took weeks to solve, I had to email all of the C level employees including the CEO.

What were you overcharged for? You'll likely get better help by explaining the full situation here, rather than continuing to try to contact customer service.

If you call sending me back to where I came from a good thing. 🙂
