I am wondering if I will still get free listing opportunities ( 500 free listings just expired) once I close my store. Also, will anything change as far as my seller page? Will I still be able to use promoted listings? Any heads up on what I am facing I would surely appreciate. I have had a store since I started 7 years ago. Sales are off 50% since around April and I am just trying to sell off current stock and get while the getting is good.

If you close your store, you would get the 50 free monthly listings.
And then whatever free listings ebay randomly gives out.
Promoted Listings is available to all Stores subscribers and Top Rated Sellers. If you're not a Store subscriber or Top Rated Seller, you can still promote your eligible listings with Promoted Listings Lite.

You lose your shipping supply coupon if you have a Basic & above store
Looks like you are TRS so you still get the promoted listings
My store just got the free 500 listings that ended yesterday Dec 22nd but that was the 1st promo on my store in a very long time
My non stores ID's do get promotions much more often but you just can't count on them.
Are you monthly or yearly?
If yearly make sure to cancel on time so you don't get hit with an early termination fee.

And if your yearly here are the terms

Best of luck to you

Same here...
Hadn't thought of it to that extent until now but it wouldn't be such a bad idea either.
Sell off, sell it all off.
Until a store is no longer required, then list free.
Even if it's just pocket change, the worry-free factor is highly attractive.

I think it is going to take another 2 months to sell down to the point that I can quit the store. I decided to switch to monthly ( which by the way commits you to 2 months it seems). The extra time and listings will let me do more than break even on my inventory. I would not have thought of this if not for your insights. thank you again. jim
