Do any of you sellers still use Photobucket as an image hosting site for embedding photos in your descriptions? Does ebay allow embedded images in descriptions?

Years ago I read somewhere that it was a good idea to acquire a domain for use of image hosting. This did 2 things: allows you to include over (12) photos in your listings. your photos do not disappear. Having my own image server has saved me once....but in the grand scheme of things, it's not worth the $100+ I pay every couple of years for the service. It amounts to a tax write off at best.
Regarding photos embedded in the description. I concur with the first person that replied in that it is not mobile friendly. The mobile friendly scanner may think the formatting is fine - but overall, ebay frowns on putting photos in the description. I had to go back and edit 2000+ listings and take the photos out of the description myself.

Some still use it..............but you now have to pay to store the photos if you are going to use them in places like ebay . When everything changed over to the https stuff, photobucket started charging and if you didn't pay, they blocked the pixs that were in listings. Was a mess......

If you list using a 3rd party service, ebay only allows one picture in their header.
If you want additional pictures, you have to embed them in the body of the listing.
This isn't ideal, but it's ebays technical incompetence that forces it.

I use GarageSale for Mac and can put an unlimited number of photos in the header by means of an image hosting domain.
