eBay has a pretty good photoshopping feature when you add your pictures. I do recommend you add them via your PC, the phone app has been sort of wonky lately. In the frame you insert your photo into, on the left top hand side is a pencil, click on that pencil and you will see all the features it gives you to clean up the pictures. On the far right you'll see a small camera/frame feature...click on that and your background will be deleted. I don't recommend using this for small slim items. It works better with bigger ones. Hope this is helpful.

Go to the dollar store and buy white poster board and take your photos on that with one as a background and one underneath.

This advice right here from @moretreasures4you is honestly better than any tool you have on your computer, and you'll end up with better looking photos. If your items are too heavy for poster board, or too large, get a white sheet (not a glossy texture) and spread it out on a table (give yourself some backdrop vertically too if possible, but if not, just try to avoid shadows by lighting it well).
