Hi,
I'm in the middle of 1st listing in E-bay. There is a condition saying that, "not to upload images with Text". I'm planning to upload an image with the product details as the main picture. Am I not be able to upload my image since it carries only the product details?

What do you think " not to upload images with text " means?
Note that while eBay uses Item Specifics, Title and Description to help buyers find your item in Search, nothing in your picture will appear in Search.
Further, over half our customers are shopping on phones and text in pictures on phones is unreadable.
So basically -- what it says on the tin.

I would not load a spec sheet for your product ('product details') as your gallery photo - you want the photo to be of the actual item.
Having said that, I upload photos from time to time that have a note on them clarifying something (like the colour) for the buyer. Also upload graphics with text for kimono sizing, as well as size charts. I work for the buyer, not eBay - they can sue me for having text in my photos, there only to make the buying experience easier. But they're not the main photo.
@femmefan1946 I actually haven't found the text in my listings unreadable on my phone - but then my text tends to be very brief "colour is darker than may be shown" or, as I say, a size chart.

You cannot have text or watermarks on your photos. That's why they're not uploading. Just load the photo of the item and describe to the best of your ability.

Several weeks ago I listed a tchotchke and the photo (that I took) of it included some text I added in, but it was also well described. The item didn’t sell, but I didn’t get any push back from the hall monitors. Good to know though going forward.

It's one of the reasons a lot of our friends from SL are running into problems. Some of them actually added "USA Seller" in their photos...they're in Sri Lanka.😆 Needless to say they're not around anymore.

Why?

The product details go in the description, not in the images.

No not allowed. Such can and does promote of site sales (usually scammers) and this is why that rule of writing, (text): is there.

I was unclear-- I meant text on the uploaded picture.
I'm constantly amazed by the picture quality on my phone, I've been watching American Gods and the detail is amazing.
But I wouldn't count on it.
I am old and grouchy.
