Does eBay allow us to put phone numbers in our listings now?

I do believe UK business sellers can include a customer service phone number, so it depends on which eBay site a member is registered as to whether they can include a phone number.

Don't put them in messages either. I got a strike on my account for trying to verify a buyer's address after they made a purchase. I get the reason for the policy, but if eBay wasn't screwing their sellers people wouldn't be trying to break their policies. Loyalty is more valuable than threats.

Publishing or displaying contact information in a listing without the permission of eBay, or except as required by law, is not allowed. User contact information includes information used to contact another member outside of eBay such as:

Note the "without permission"..........  some have justified the phone for giving help in installation, etc..  so not all phone numbers in listings are "illegal".......  You do have to contact ebay for permission..........

eBay tells me I'm suppose to have my number listed in mine with a contact name, but when I do, they remove it.....figures

What happened to the "pilot" program that sellers WERE allowed to have contacts in the listings? Did that die a fast death?

I thought I read something a while ago about sellers being able to put their phone numbers in the 'ask seller a question' area.
