Dear eBay Community Members,
My eBay account is under a “periodic performance review” since 30 December 2022. I had made my first sale on 27 October and schedule my payouts on monthly basis.
My First Payout was schedule to receive me on 03 January but on 28 December 2022, I got eBay team message that my eBay seller account is under review and this review will be complete in 5 days.
On 30 December, I got second message from eBay that my seller account is under a “Periodic Performance review”. In addition, my funds will be on hold until eBay complete this “Periodic Performance review”.
I checked eBay policies about this matter and I understood that because am new to eBay and that is why my seller account has been put on a “Periodic Performance review”. I was expecting that this review will completed soon but it almost 9 weeks passed and my account is still under “Periodic Performance review”.
I am doing my best to achieve good selling service and I have now 30 Positive feedback plus 1 neutral feedback.
My current seller status is above standard, I have one transaction defect that was happen after 25 days of “Periodic Performance review”.
Meanwhile I had contacted eBay customer support twice and I got a very positive and satisfactory reply from the eBay customer service. However, unfortunately, my problem did not resolved yet nor eBay customer service could tell me how long it will take to complete the “Periodic Performance review”.
The problem I am facing is that I did not get a single penny from sale since my first sale on 27 October; it means I did not get anything from my sale since four and half month.
Can someone guide me about this problem? What is the maximum time of completion of “Periodic Performance review?”
How long should I need to wait or what should I do to resolve this problem?

I am sorry to hear you are having to go through all of this. It really shouldn't be this way. Unfortunately none of us here can help you with this. You just need to continue to contact Ebay. And at this point I'd be doing that daily or every other day in an effort to try and shake my money lose. I sincerely hope this works out for you quickly.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Hi there,
It sounds horrible! I was wondering if you got anywhere with eBay? I'm going thought a similar situation having my account on a periodic performance review twice in 15 days and now I'm worry about my funds after reading your post.

Twice in 15 days doesn't sound very "periodic" to me unless they are going to do it every week instead of a more "random" application. How long did it take for you to get it fixed the first time? Was there any indication of why you were selected?
Since this thread is a few months old, and the OP is once again selling, I would assume the problem has been resolved. I say that only because it would be sort of silly to sell and ship products with out the ability to get funds. You get any payouts BEFORE they decided to periodically review you again?

The OP is located in Pakistan and no longer sells. I doubt they'll be back to reply. I am seeing more and more sellers on this forum from Pakistan complaining about getting their accounts suspended because they are inexperienced and don't follow the rules.
My guess is that perhaps only authorized dealers would be able to sell those stethoscopes and most like they were made in China and were deemed unauthentic. Many companies are very serious about their products that they produce and their copyrights, especially 3M. Hope things get resolved for you soon.

Thank you so much! In my case I've had two periodic reviews in two weeks, I've the account for years but only starting taking serious for the past two months. As a result, my sales went from 0 items to more than 100 in a month so I believe it's due to my sales behaviour. My concern is been reviewed so often and now my funds are on hold and as eBay my main income now, it's becoming a real issue. I've chatted with a rep from eBay who assured me the fund will be available within 5 days and if I keep the same level of sales, eBay might not review my account again for a while. My items range from £10 to £40 each so nothing really expensive. Fingers crossed it'll be resolved but thank you for jumping in!
