@z7y4d_71

You need to set up a selling account with ebay, along with all the details required.

You can't buy-sell-trade on the community forums.

We have Antique pearls from Ottoman Empire. Now I want to sell all of them. One piece of pearls sold in UK in 2014 for 1000000£ .

If you are asking on this board what is the best way to sell a £1 million pound item, I can't help but wonder if you really have a £1 million pound item to sell.

I had to count out some spaces for comma's.

One MILLION Pounds Sterling?

ONE MILLION?

I'm unfamiliar with exchange rates, but isn't that worth slightly more than $12.50?

No?   Wait.   It is $1,262,214.05

And, you want to sell that on eBay?

Is that possible?

I know it's not smart ... but is it even possible?

It's a joke, right?

That's something I probably wouldn't be selling online..

Are you aware that you'll need to register as a seller in order to actually list and sell on eBay?

And I hope you'll read all the information you can possibly find about how selling (and buying) will work.

Be especially certain to read eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers.  It will have an enormous effect on your selling career here.

Even if I were an experienced seller on eBay, there are some things I'd never sell here.

And you are brand new! You might want to rethink your plan.

You're replying to a quote from Henry Kissinger.... it's a catch phrase appearing on all @chapeau-noir 's posts.

Hi There,

I just wanted to caution not to list "high value items" on EBAY.    There are many scammers on EBAY who have figured out how to get items "for free".   Customer can "reverse credit card payment" AFTER they receive your item.  EBAY will NOT protect you if you get scammed.

Good luck with your selling journey.

Antique shops (you indicate "any") in Turkey sell million dollar antique pearl necklaces?   Somehow I have a hard time believing that.  Those shops would have to have extremely high security, and if like in America, the liability insurance for covering something like that would very high.

You said one necklace sold for a high amount in 2014 but if so, I'm guessing there was something different or special about it.  If, indeed, it did sell for that much doesn't mean all pearl necklaces are worth that much.

Just because something, be it jewelry, furniture, decorative objects or anything else, is antique does not make it worth a lot of money.   In fact, many antiques aren't worth a flip any more.
