Payout sent on wrong date and not requested

I just received a payout message this morning from eBay and it was not requested, nor is it the correct day that payouts are sent to my bank account.  I checked my payout information and it still is correct (supposed to be sent on a different day during the week which did happen but then got another payout sent early this morning??) Has any other seller ever had this happen?

Same story here!  I also received a congrats on one year anniversary and have been selling for 20+ years on eBay!  My weekly payout schedule has not been altered.

Somewhat relieved to hear this has something to do with an eBay glitch connected to scheduled Tuesday payouts, but why haven't we seen an explanation from eBay??  Anything connected to bank accounts is a huge concern and should be of utmost importance to eBay.

Hey @gizzme! Thank you for sharing this. There is an open sitewide ticket open under ALERT16072 for sellers having scheduled for weekly payouts, but received two payouts in this week. The Product team is working on resolving this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you, Devon, for replying. This was a minor scare when I saw the payout on a non-request, so it's good to know this has something to do with sellers who normally get their payouts on Tuesday. I appreciate the reply from ebay!

Ha~ I got the same congrats from eBay on my one year anniversary of selling on eBay! Like you, I am a long-time eBay buyer and seller and was a bit shocked to see the message. Just another strange glitch.

Just got yet another payout today.

If I wanted daily payouts I'd not have set it for weekly lol
