Payout Problems

Nine days without a payout because of a problem that eBay acknowledges has nothing to do with me. Still no payouts scheduled. They acknowledge it is completely on their end. Four worthless phone calls with concierge including one who promised me a call back and I never heard from her again. Now they have thousands of dollars of my money. My bills have started to come due and I have no way to pay them. I have excellent buying opportunities for the next several days but may not be able to take advantage because eBay has my money. Zero updates for the last two days. It has become obvious that eBay simply does not care. Between this, the horrendously executed transition away from Paypal a few years back, and oh yeah, that time when nearly every one of the photos on my listings disappeared forever and had to be redone, it has become so very obvious that I cannot count on eBay in any way. I am a very small business that relies on eBay to simply pay me the money that I earned in a timely fashion. While the alternatives to eBay are few and less than ideal, I need to do everything I can to diversify before eBay ruins me. So **** disappointing.

I read these forums regularly and am always amazed at the number of problems other sellers have, but which I never experience.   Payouts is one of them.

Having said that, its also true that I have not altered my banking information since signing up here 25 years ago, lest I cause eBay's servers to get so confused that my account is vaporized.

Same problem here. Over $4k magically cannot be sent out for no apparent reason... Top rated seller was getting payouts fine for 2 years.

@the4thcoinYou have only two recent feedback for sales, the next are over six months old. You're likely considered a new seller again and payment holds may apply.

I am not new. I've sold 43 items in the last 90 days and I'm top rated. They also told me like the op that it was on ebay end when I called. Funny enough as soon as I posted here and messaged ebay on Facebook it's now working again... Go figure!

Ebay doesn't just hold money to be holding it.  There is a reason for it.  You may not agree with what they want, but still you need to provide it if you want to get your money.  They would have told you in an email what they needed.  Likely back when they first started holding the funds.  So maybe go back and find those emails and read them carefully.

Again remember, you may not agree with what they say, but they did tell you something.
