Thought eBay was an American based company. Great idea how they got rid of weekend payments to sellers but still send payments on holidays. Hope they don't expect us to ship stuff too. WHAT A BACKWARDS COMPANY

My payouts are sent to my bank every day. Weekends included.

Huh? What does today being a holiday have to do with electronic payments being sent (most businesses are not closed today, btw, though a fair number are), and why is that a problem?
You never have to ship items on a postal holiday, but that is entirely unconnected to whether you receive payouts.

Change your payout schedule to weekly/on demand and you can get them anytime you want, for a $2 fee.
Have a happy Independence day!

REALLY? They sent out a post and stopped paying me weekends last summer. Thought that was for everyone but you must sell more or rate higher. I really hate they way they've worked it as it is impossible to figure out what your totals are from Thursday until Tuesday. You are lucky

Now people are complaining about getting paid on a holiday.

You don’t need to pay $2 for On demand….. Express payouts charges that fee.

Yes really! It is not a scheduled payout it is a seller initiated payout.
On demand not express.

The funds are 'processed' before going to 'available funds' in a 24 hour period of Express Payouts.
Are you saying you get payouts the next day without the 2 buck fee?
I get paid today by a buyer and can deposit those funds the next day after 9PM for 2 bucks...you can do that for free?
I was just curious how you get around that.

Yes that’s what I am saying. I get them the same day actually when the bank is open. I never ever use Express payout.
ETA…When requesting a payout I use the Standard payout I get my payouts just as quick without having to pay $2. The image below was stolen from wastingtime Standard says it takes 1-3 days but that depends on your bank. I get mine the same day I requested it.

Be thankful you are American with the ability to receive payments at all.
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY

Is this registered under 'daily payouts' then or something else?
I do weekly payouts...which is Tuesday for free.

I have mine set at weekly as well. I do Standard on demand payout request for free on the daily.
I figure eBay gets enough in fees from me they don’t need $2 more. lol

I see. I think you mentioned that before.
I have seen that.
Getting it the same day is great. I might try that.
I usually just wait for Tuesdays payouts.
My bank seems pretty good also for maybe it might work for me as well.
Not that I need the money immediately unless I have an emergency one day.
Thanks.

Many banks/S& Ls place a HOLD on weekend/holiday deposits/transactions until the next business day - - like mine. They used have real time deposits. Guess the banking system is getting back at us for when there was a 2 day "float" period when you wrote a check w/o sufficient funds before the NSF penalty kicked in kicked in.. As had been said in the yesteryear "the worm turns".. The internet made it possible. - hmmm ..
