I just logged into my eBay account. Found out now that the payments have been changed from PayPal to eBay. They ask for all of your Bank information to re-register your accounts!!! I will not do that. I can see giving the route number and account number. Not my user/password. That should not be allowed. I will wait until this changes. No one gets that information.

If you check your ebay messages, You might find that eBay has been telling you for 2+ years that this change was coming.
My 2 accounts changed over a year ago without issue.
Every seller on ebay is changed, Or will change, Or will stop selling.
Your customers will still be able to pay with Paypal.

They don't need your user ID and password, just the routing and account number and the last 4 of your SSN.

I guess another batch of sellers got moved over today. Another round of "I'm not giving them any info. threads.

You can choose to verify your account by micro deposits. It'll take a bit longer and eBay will start harassing you almost immediately to finish the process (even before they've actually sent the deposits), but you don't have to use the bank login method to verify your account.

It's just a transfer into your bank account by giving them your router# and account# - that's all that is required just as Paypal requires the same thing for any transfers. Has nothing to do with you private information.

You aren't "re-registering" your account, you are adding needed information.
FYI ...........
1). You gave that info to PayPal.
2). It's easy to open a bank/credit union specifically for this.
3). If you don't give the info to MP/Adyen then you can't get paid.
4). Managed Payments/Adyen gives buyers more options to make payments.
5). They need this info for the government IRS tax forms.

You will have a long wait. It's not going to change. You'll eventually be restricted from receiving payments until it is YOU that changes.
Where the "H" did you get the idea eBay wants your bank account's User ID/Password? Ebay does not require that from any seller's bank account.
If you wish to continue selling here, I suggest you get informed correctly as to what is really being requested, and what isn't.
If you don't wish to continue selling here under eBay's new policies, your shoes are not nailed to the floor. You're free to walk away and pursue whatever your heart desires. Just do yourself a favor and leave open your options to return, hopefully with a more realistic and cooperative attitude, as some have already done.
The vast majority of sellers here have already migrated to MP, and things are going smoothly without the loss of one penny that is legitimately theirs.
Cheers, Duffy

Welcome to Managed Payments.
Its cumbersome and confusing to start with, but it definitely gets a little easier to deal with as you move along with it. As for the bank acct and routing number, they need that to deposit your funds from your sales. Same way Paypal needed it. Its a necessary component of the program. Good Luck!!

A page popped up saying that they wanted the Password and User Name and I got out of it.

I hope that it doesn't get more drastic. I've been a seller since 1999. I don't even like the new format.

That is one of the verification methods that can be used. From posts here on the boards it seems that it was the fastest way for the account to be verified.

It is - if you log into your bank account via the link e-Bay gave you and all the info on e-Bay matches exactly to all the info at the bank, the whole process takes about 5 min.
If you wish to choose to go the micro-payments route and verify to e-bay the amounts deposited, you can certainly do that on a slower path.
Good luck!
p.s. You have been gone awhile. This link takes you to the Spring Seller update - you might want to peruse these changes as well.

You're been a seller since 1999?
Then these stupid new rules shouldn't apply to you.
Contact ebay and ask for a waiver.

You've been on ebay since 2003, not 1999 as you stated.
You've gotten multiple notices about managed payments for YEARS.
You shared the same information with paypal, what's the problem now?
Ok. Buh-by
