I have sold an item on ebay. Do I need to wait for the payment to arrive before I send the item? Also does the payment just go into the account that I have linked up to the ebay account?

I see that this account was made in 2014, but no activity for at least a year.

This means you will have a pay pal hold.

Go into your paypal account and check to see if the money is in there.

Wait for the OK to ship.

If that all checks out, then send out with online tracking.

On the 4th day after it has been successfully delivered, you can call paypal and ask that the money be released into your paypal account.

Hopefully you set your account up to receive payments.  You have to wait to receive payment, you don't ship until payment has been made to your account, and you ship when Paypal tells you to the address on the payment.  As a new seller, you are subject to a Paypal hold of 21 days, but when you enter tracking and it shows delivery, three days later, your funds will be released.

Always check your Paypal balance to be sure you have actually received payment.

And NEVER ship an item out without seeing you have been paid!  No everyone is honest and will pay you after the item arrives.
