PayPal

So after only 2 weeks of selling my customers cannot send me money. I have had my paypal accounts confirmed. But. I don't get what the problem is. I have 3 buyers so I know its not them. Anyways.. If this sounds familiar please give me some ideas. Its possible I missed something. Thanks.

Re: PayPal

Have you registered for Managed Payments?  If you are a new Seller, e-Bay isn't setting up new accounts with the option of Paypal for the Buyers payments to go to.

Re: PayPal

Adding what @katzrul15 said, ebay is moving away from using PayPal. Ebay should have messaged you on their site letting you know the deadline to move over, or if you are a new seller, you need to set it up. I would read this article about Managed Payments so you know what to expect and some benefits it has

https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/service-and-payments/managed-payments-on-ebay.html

As for your buyers, nothing has changed for them.

Re: PayPal

Your last comment is what is confusing me panda.

A buyer should still be able to purchase using Paypal, not sure why they can't.

During our change over, buyers were not impacted at all, we just received their Paypal funds into MP then the our bank.

Maybe a Paypal issue.......

Re: PayPal

If OP is a new Seller, they need a payment mechanism set up, i.e. MP.   Other new Sellers have posted about this thinking they needed a Paypal acct.  They can for buying, but not for collecting payments as a Seller.

Re: PayPal

You don't need a confirmed PayPal account.  EBay requires a verified checking account number with your SSN.

You will be notified by eBay.  Pay close attention to all eBay communications you receive.  eBay has recently contracted with Payoneer to process payments in Asia, starting with China, but I do not know when, or if, Vietnam will be added.

Re: PayPal

I just read my comment and that was a brain dump lmao.

I meant to say that buyers can still purchase through PayPal, and that there are no changes to buying in general.

But when it comes to selling, if you make a new selling account, ebay will tell you that they are moving over to managed payments and of course, OP will need to switch over if they have not already. I also gave a link to OP that explains what managed payments is.
