Something seems "off" with a current order.
1. Buyer ordered 2 unrelated textbooks.
2. The buyers name does not match the ship-to name.
3. The ship-to address is a UPS mailbox store. (8630-M Guilford Rd Columbia MD 21046-2616)
I checked the buyers feedback and it seems he/she frequently buys multiple items from the same seller in the same transaction. From the seller names, it appears they also sell books.
The buyer's feedbacks are all positive - but it also looks like they are all automated feedback from the sellers.
Q: Is this some test buyer looking for counterfeit books?
Q: Or is this some new scam that I'm not aware of?

Could be a parent buying books and sending them to their kid in collage.

UPS Stores offer "mailboxes" that provide a permanent street mailing address for a monthly fee that is about the same as I pay the post office for my PO box. For a student who may move every semester, that might be convenient. This one is a mile or two from a community college.
What does "frequently" mean? Every day? Every week? Every month? Every semester? Every year?

Not exactly sure what you are worrying about.

Frequently = 6 times in the last month. Buyer has been active since 2020.

I have heard that "test buyers" looking for counterfeit books will often return the items after inspection. (Free returns cost money to the seller.)

if all textbooks, could be reselling on campus, multiple buys from same seller could be to take advantage of combined shipping.
