Over a period of time I have had a number of patches removed, last time was 4 patches from 40 years ago and marked old and obsolete, so asked an agent what could be listed, first told me you cant list Australian Military patches and could not get through these were'nt. next agent I asked if I could list FBI patches as are not worn on uniform, he went away and checked, said yes that's okay, so just in case I listed two, next morning one was taken down, my ex wife has had it even worse got a three day suspension then during the three day suspension, because she tried to get clarification it was changed to thirty days suspension, what a great way to run a business, even though there are over 50 categories for police patches no one at ebay can or will tell you what you can or cannot list
POLICY:
The following items can't be listed for sale on eBay:

Whether obsolete or not, that's not something the average person would know or recognize as such. Both IDs listed and sold various LE (police, sheriff) and other emergency response patches. And according to ebay policy, they're disallowed.

was told you can list as long as not shield shaped, then not shoulder, patches , then two 1980's comedy type Customs patches removed today but get told (I have reviewed this and also made some research on this. It seems that this been removed in error.) I could list forever the different Customer Service Agents instructions, got so I said where is the customer service? may as well speak to a robot

The phone reps do not work for eBay so don't bother with them. They work for a subcontractor out of Utah.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

I used to trade police patches some. The patches I have now put away and will not hand out Because they small town patches. And are very had to get. So i just don’t hand them out any more I have gone to a no patch policy Because of dishonest people who sell patches on eBay. President biden has instructed the United States Attorney general merrick garland to go after people who sell public safety items on line And shut them down with enforcement which if they donot obey criminal prosecution will be the route taken. Because police fire and ems agencys are sick of seeing their stuff sold on eBay.And have complained to their states elected leaders in Washington to have the biden administration. Put a stop to it
