PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Trying to Get Sales Transaction Report from 2005 to Present - EBAY NOT HELPFUL

For weeks now I've been trying to get a sales report of all my transactions from the time I started selling in 2005 until the present.  Finally, eBay sent a file of 142 pages with the transactions listed in absolutely no logical order.  It not only is not in chronological order - 142 pages with many dozens of transactions per page - but it is not organized in any other way that would at least give a clue as to category or price point or anything.  

It's just 142 pages totaling about 1400 transactions in no order of any kind.  

I drew this to eBay's attention by phone twice and I was assured someone would get back to me.  Nobody got back to me.

The slipshod presentation is matched only by the slipshod service.  eBay's document is unprofessional to say the least.   It is inconceivable that the company has the data but doesn't put it in the chronological order in which it is maintained.   

Please help.  I do not know where to go to complain.

Perhaps scan the data into electronic form and sort using Excel.

What are you downloading the information into?

That data loaded into a program like Excel as mentioned by @fbusoni, will make searching and organizing the data a bit easier.

The information you wanted has been provided.  EBay gave you exactly what you asked for.   EBay doesn't keep track of what you individually do, they are a business and keep track of what they do.   It's up to you to take your time and resources to synthesize it.   A professional accountant could probably pull the figures you want.  EBay isn't set up to do that type of accounting work for you.

You need to drop the worksheet they gave you into a worksheet program.  The most popular one is Excel.  But there are others that will work too.

I'm amazed you got anything at all for that far back. They probably gave it to you as a CSV file, you can sort it with Excel.

First of all, you are incorrect on all points, but the main one is that a report I requested and received a few years ago came in chronologically.   First sale of the type to last, chronologically presented.  ANY business is required to provide a history.   Also you are rude.  I make ZERO on my sales as 100% of my sales go into the not-for-profit Place For Cats, Inc., a rescue, which has NO paid employees now, or ever, since we were formed in 1990.   Every cent goes toward vet and food for the cats.  So paying an accountant to provide a chronological list of sales, FROM WHICH EBAY MADE MONEY, is not something we would do.  You are rude.  Do NOT respond to me again.

All true, however back 20 years is a long time.  Even IRS doesn't go back that far.

Complaining will do you no good - it's better to spend your time fixing the document. If it's simply a line-item transaction report, it can be imported into a spreadsheet format - for Excel it can even be just copy/pasted. Yes, it's a pain and I'm not sure why eBay produced something that disorganized (well, maybe I am), but they're not going to fix it for you. 

Also, when you ask questions on a chat board, you're going to get all sorts of answers. Just ignore the ones that are not helpful.

Thanks to all who responded.  The report came in html.  I do not know excel; one of my rescue group's volunteers does however, and the report was given to him to try to chronologize.   When I asked for and received a report several years ago, it arrived fully chronologized.    Thank you again to all who responded.
