Outstanding balance on a seller suspended account

Hello people,

Does somebody know what happens with the outstanding balance from buyers if an account was permanently suspended?

A CS rep told me that they hand it over to the state as unclaimed property.

I had asked about what happens to it when a seller doesn't sign onto managed payments.

Are you referring to items that had not been paid for when the selling account was suspended? I think eBay tells the buyers not to pay.

^^^ While true with seller's accounts and MP, the OP has asked about suspended buyers . I'm confused, too...

I am taking about the amount that buyers already paid and then they had their order shipped .. after that, the account was suspended permanently… I didn’t know that I am not supposed to list that particular item.. I am an new seller without experience..

Thank you for clarifying. I'm with @a_c_green on this one. Your buyers would have been advised not to pay. If they paid before you shipped, I'll bet eBay will reimburse them... but I'm not sure.

Did they take the buyers' funds back from you? If so, I'll bet they're gone forever.

When I last checked  the amount was on hold there, today I dispatched the last orders so the items are gone to the buyers.. Usually takes a week until the payment is sent to the seller’s account, but in this situation with my account being permanently suspended.. I don’t understand if the money will be sent to me as I already dispatched the products..

you are in the UK..........this is the US board........rules may be different over there.....  I'd ask on the UK board........
