Out of stock option question

Hi eBayers,

I recently stumbled upon eBay's 'Out of stock' option where you can maintain your number of items been sold on the listing. I followed the instructions and checked 'yes' box on the OOS option on the preference setting.

The listing I wanted to maintain though had been sold out and ended before I change my OOS setting. Is there any way to bring my old listing back with the sold history once my item restocks or is it too late?

Thank you all in advance!

Out of stock option question

Unfortunately no.  Once an item is ended, a Relist resets the start time and sold count history.  All 'out of stock' option really does is keeps listings from 'ending' when an item is sold out of.

No sorry, too late. The OOS has to be activated before the listing sells out.

Just remember that the OOS is global - it covers ALL your listings, so if you don't want to be charged renewal fees for individual listings that sell, you will have to manually end those when they sell.
